The finishing technique of
painting with dry powder was first used in the US in 1966 by the Navy
to address a problem with helicopter components. Once an object
has been thoroughly stripped using one of our abrasive blasting
methods, the power media is electro-statically applied. It is
then heated at 350 to 400 degrees melting the powder to a beautiful
smooth durable finish. Powder coat finishes are harder and more
durable than traditional painted enamel finishes.
So, if you have
something like a vehicle component, a piece of outdoor lawn furniture
or even a fence gate that needs that strong, durable paint finish
powder coating offers, give us a call!
